C\u00daCUTA.-<\/strong> Edgar Jes\u00fas D\u00edaz recibi\u00f3 el respaldo de 291.389 nortesantandereanos para que gobierne entre 2012 y 2015 en el departamento. El candidato del movimiento Un Norte Pa\u2019lante obtuvo el 59,76 por ciento de la votaci\u00f3n en las elecciones del 30 de octubre.<\/p>\n

El Gobernador electo de Norte de Santander tendr\u00e1 como aliados en los municipios a 14 alcaldes del partido Conservador, 7 del Movimiento de unidad Nacional, 5 de Cambio Radical, 3 del Partido Liberal, 3 del Partido Verde, 3 del movimiento ASI, 2 de las Autoridades Ind\u00edgenas y uno del Polo Democr\u00e1tico, y de los movimientos Somos Todos y Afrovides.<\/p>\n

Mientras los conservadores mantienen la mayor\u00eda en el 35 por ciento de los municipios del departamento, los liberales han cedido terreno ante los nuevos partidos y movimientos y solo preserva el 7,5 del poder local.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades electorales anularon 13,304 votos, los ciudadanos no marcaron 55,868\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 tarjetones y los 5 candidatos no convencieron a 39.288 votantes que prefirieron depositar las tarjetas en blanco.<\/p>\n
